2016: Freelancing for Wolffe Design
The Raeburn is a boutique hotel, bar and restaurant at the heart of Stockbridge, Edinburgh. The Raeburn was an existing client of Wolffe Design and they were looking for a clean modern website which would reflect their brand.
I worked in-house at the Wolffe Design studio, with Peter Graham for the duration of the project. My role for the project was lead developer, working closely with Wolffe Design & Peter Graham.
We selected to build the website using WordPress. We developed a bespoke WordPress theme from the design, which Wolffe Design had created. I created custom administration widgets in the WordPress page editor to allow a powerful, flexible user-friendly experience for the content editors at The Raeburn.
The website also integrates with Vertical Booking, a leading hotel reservation system, to allow users to book their stay at The Raeburn. The website also allows website visitors to make a reservation at the restaurant.
