I'm Fraser Clark, a freelance web developer with over 15 years of professional experience. I'm originally from Edinburgh, Scotland and now based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What I do
I build websites and web applications for businesses that care about quality. Most of my work is custom WordPress development, Laravel applications, and Statamic CMS projects.
I focus on two things that often get overlooked: the experience your team has when editing the site, and the experience your visitors have when using it. A good website works well for both.
My background
After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University in 2009, I spent over 6 years as a software developer at the digital agency The Weather Digital, working across a range of projects from small business sites to enterprise platforms.
In 2015 I left to solo travel the world. I visited over 20 countries and spent 8 weeks in Argentina doing voluntary work with children.
Since late 2015, I've been freelancing full-time. I've worked with organisations of all sizes across the UK and Europe — from startups and charities to governments and multi-nationals.
How I work
I don't speak in jargon. I care about understanding what you're trying to achieve before I write a line of code. I build things properly, I communicate clearly, and I'm reliable.
