Building an AI-assisted lead-generation tool for Rubric Law

2026

I planned, designed and built a business valuation tool for Rubric Law using Laravel and OpenAI models. It gives business owners an indicative valuation while helping the firm attract potential clients and grow its marketing audience.

The tool collects financial information and asks risk-based questions, then uses several valuation methodologies to calculate a valuation range. Companies House integration helps validate company details and pulls public records to better understand the business and identify potential risks.

A paid premium report goes deeper. Additional questions refine the risk assessment and adjust the valuation calculation. OpenAI models build a personalised narrative around the facts and figures, explaining the results and suggesting ways the owner could increase the business's value.

Contact details flow into Clio CRM and Mailchimp to support future outreach and marketing. That makes the tool a useful first interaction for business owners and a lead-generation channel for Rubric's legal services.

If you're considering a bespoke tool or a practical use for AI in your business, I'd be happy to discuss it.
