Last year I worked on The R&D Community website. Recently we went back and reviewed the sign up flow - there was a few issues with the old flow which "blocked" people from signing up.
Here are a few of the highlights from the project
Built in Vue.js 3 as a multi-step form
Integrates with Stripe, TalentLMS and Keap
New focus - The R&D Community is primarily b2b, often the person registering and paying for the account was not the end user or learner - we adjusted this to allow for billing user to signup
Payment - we move payment from the end to the middle - this allows the organisation to setup and send a unique link to the team for setting up learners
Automated email workflow to catch problems and abandoned signups
